eee – ALT + click !

Holding ALT and clicking a window allows me to move a window anywhere I want! Even out the top edge of the screen!
Working on the small screen of the eee has can sometimes be a challenge. If a program pops up a window that is bigger than the size of the screen … well before my friend told me about using ALT+Click I had no way of getting to those buttons that are always down at the bottom. This has been possibly the most usefull tip i have ever recived for using a eee.

At first I was trying to move the windows by right clicking and selecting “Move” from the pop up menu. Unfortunately, moving windows this way does not allow for the top of the window to leave the workspace view. The windows would only move as far as the top of the desktop and then STOP. Knowing that i can hold ALT and click a window to move it is going to be quite handy.
